Community roadmaps
The Canada-wide child care community has developed a series of early learning and child care (ELCC) roadmaps. Several of these were developed before the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care $10/day plan was announced in 2021, while others were developed following the announcement. A Canada-wide roadmap was developed by Child Care Now.
Tools for navigating to an ELCC vision
Each roadmap identifies key ELCC issues, describes a child care vision and goals, and outlines the actions required to achieve them. Roadmaps, which were developed using participatory consultative processes, are available as tools and guides for advocates, allies, researchers, and policy makers.
